Challenges Facing UN Peace Building in States Emerging from Conflict

Abstract

Building peace in countries emerging from conflict requires integrated efforts and regional and international support, and the United Nations is one of the most important international organizations as it is the international umbrella that has a responsibility to maintain international peace and security, but it faces many challenges that hinder the peace building process, whether in the United Nations itself or In countries emerging from conflict, these challenges affect the restoration of stability, security and empowerment of peoples to preserve their dignity and enjoy their freedom, and among the most important of these challenges is the reality of the United Nations and the reflection of the great powers' struggle to achieve their interests and their negative impact on financing the organization as well as the challenges associated with the state itself (emerging from Conflict) that suffers from political and security problems as well as the influence of regional and international politics.
