There is no doubt that October 7, 2023, is a historic day due to the events that unfolded and what the Palestinian resistance has done in confronting Israel and its occupying army. In the early hours of the dawn of October 7, Mohammed Deif, the commander of the military wing of Hamas, the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, announced the launch of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood in response to the repeated Israeli assaults on Palestinians and the ongoing violations of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and Islamic sanctities in Jerusalem, as well as the injustices faced by the Palestinian people through forced arrests, deliberate killings, and the continued construction of Israeli settlements while displacing the indigenous population of those lands.
To understand and analyze the conflict and to grasp its nuances—from the root causes to the latest developments—the researcher employs an analytical framework to dissect and analyze the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. This framework is one of the most important scientific tools used in conflict analysis, as it helps researchers interested in conflict issues to view the situation from a comprehensive and broad perspective by posing precise questions about the parties involved in the conflict, its issues, and the extent of its impact on regional and international levels, as well as revealing the strengths and weaknesses of the parties engaged in the conflict.
