Abstract

Artificial intelligence is one of the most prominent technological advancements that has significantly impacted various fields, including security policy. In this research, we will review the definition of artificial intelligence as a technology that simulates human capabilities to develop intelligent solutions, and how it has influenced security policies as a strategic framework to ensure the stability of nations. The research also aims to explore how Israel has benefited from artificial intelligence in enhancing its national security, such as in intelligence and surveillance through advanced systems, and how these technologies have been utilized for military and security purposes in its recent wars. Additionally, the study highlights the ethical challenges associated with privacy violations and excessive use of force, as well as the legal challenges related to regulating the use of AI, and the impact of these technologies on Israeli security policy. The research focuses on the need to strike a balance between security and human rights amid rapid developments that indicate a tendency to use artificial intelligence in wars and conflicts, leading to new risks, such as an arms race between countries and the increasing dependence on these technologies.
