Abstract

This research examines the topic of Iraqi journalism during a significant era of modern Iraqi history spanning from 1914-1920، which witnessed the British occupation of Iraq، the imposition of British Mandate، the emergence of the 1920 Revolution as a reaction to the occupation، and the establishment of national rule represented by the formation of the first Iraqi ministry led by Abdul Rahman Al-Naqib. The study focuses on three main aspects: introducing the newspapers that appeared during this period، whether opposition or supportive of the British occupation policy، clarifying their positions on the political events that Iraq witnessed at that time، shedding light on the personalities who founded these newspapers، and highlighting their prominent writers. Finally، I hope that I have fulfilled the research's objectives and contributed to revealing an important aspect of the political life in Iraq during this crucial period.
