Abstract

This study seeks to examine the concept of Artificial Intelligence (AI), delineating its various types and principal characteristics. In recent years, AI has undergone significant and rapid advancements, progressively integrating into numerous domains, including political, economic, cultural, military, and medical spheres. Its applications have become increasingly accessible to a wide array of users, encompassing individuals, governments, and corporations alike. Moreover, smart devices and social media platforms have recently incorporated AI technologies, while numerous countries have formulated national strategies aimed at advancing AI capabilities and securing a leading position on the global stage. Substantial financial investments have been directed toward supporting AI-related initiatives, accompanied by the establishment of regulatory frameworks designed to accommodate these rapid technological developments.

Despite the myriad benefits associated with the adoption of AI applications, this technology presents profound ethical, security, and economic challenges. Concerns have been raised regarding the displacement of human labor by AI systems, as well as broader societal implications. Accordingly, this study endeavors to present the diverse classifications of AI, highlighting the specific functions, features, and advantages each type offers to various sectors
