Abstract

The attention in Islamic Extremism, and particularly the violent part of it, is a result of the securitization of political Islam as potentially one of the major threats facing Europe in the current century, although this interest was insignificant before September 11, several scholars tried later to light on the phenomena of religiously inspired terrorism. Studies discovered that there is an identity crises and cracking in the satisfactions, imaginaries and perspectives of Islamic minorities of Europe, as a result, European Muslims are ready to accept the logic of extreme groups.
