Abstract

The trend towards economic, political, and military blocs is considered one of the key aspects that have shaped and continue to shape the new world order. This phenomenon suggests that the upcoming phase will be characterized by various forms of cooperation, integration, and economic, political, and military fusion. This will play a leading role in shaping the new world order and its orientations.

Both the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and the European Union (EU) represent important international and regional blocs that have emerged from the international environment. This is due to the significant economic and strategic capabilities possessed by both the Arab Gulf region and the European continent within the international system. These capabilities have made the member states realize the importance of cooperation and integration with their neighbors in the same region in order to maintain a comprehensive economic, political, and strategic entity. This is necessary to address the vital necessities resulting from the developments in the international political arena
