Abstract

This study examines the impact of artificial intelligence on fifth-generation warfare, focusing on the legal challenges posed by the use of modern military technologies in conflict. It explores the development of military technologies such as drones and robotic systems, analyzing their compatibility with fundamental humanitarian principles. The research takes the 2024 Lebanon war as a case study to investigate the influence of such technologies on modern warfare. The study concludes that existing legal frameworks are inadequate to address these advancements and stresses the need for updating laws and strengthening monitoring mechanisms to ensure compliance with international humanitarian law, with an emphasis on legal accountability .
