Mechanism of Making Public Policies in the Kurdistan Region"

Abstract

Iraq witnessed radical transformations after 2003, most notably a change in the political system structure and the adoption of a federal model, which includes two types of governments: the federal government and local governments. In light of these changes, the Kurdish provinces in Iraq enjoyed a region within the federal Iraq, leading to the emergence of the Kurdistan Regional Government as a local government responsible for policymaking and implementation in the three provinces (Erbil, Dohuk, Sulaymaniyah).

جدير بالذكر أن الحكومة الاتحادية منذ عام 2003 تواجه تحديات كبيرة ، منها تراجع الخدمات ، وانتشار الفساد الإداري ، وتدهور الأوضاع الأمنية ، وتراجع مؤشرات التنمية البشرية ، والفوضى ، وعدم الاستقرار. وفي الوقت نفسه ، شهد إقليم كوردستان استقرارًا أمنيًا ، واستطاعت حكومة الإقليم معالجة العديد من المشاكل ، لا سيما على صعيد الأمن والخدمات.
